New Filly

Archer had a beautiful baby girl at 03:09 this morning. Keeley and I spent the night out by her pen watching along with Keeley's dog Milis. It was Milis that alerted us to Archer change in behavior as we had just checked her a few mins earlier. Thank you Milis. Keeley was highly worried that she would miss the birth as she leaves for Wildland Firefighter training in another day, but Archer cooperated and had her filly in time for Keeley to watch. Archer seemed to be comforted with Keeley being close as I don't think she wanted to go through the process alone. It's a beautiful filly and the baby was up an moving very quickly, even showing a bit of sass as she didn't want anyone to stop her from sloshing through the horrible mud beyond the shelter, left from the huge thunderstorm we had.
