Now Living in California

with her new owner

Aliyah Heavenly Crescendo

Registered with: AMHA and TLMHR

Brown Full Lippitt Filly, no white markings

foaled at 03:09 May 15, 2018

The evening before she arrived was marked with a huge thunderstorm dumping a lot of much needed rain in our area.

This little girl decided it was time to make her appearance two weeks early. Despite her earliness this girl had no trouble getting her start in life. Up and running well before her mama was ready to nurse her, and she already seem to have some spunk.

She is big, with large bones and hooves. Her legs are the first thing you notice, then her pretty coloring. Her color reminds us of her maternal-grand sire Sandrock Joel. With all that leg we are thinking she is likely to be taller than both her daddy and Mama. When she turns 3 months old we will get an good estimate of her probable height but right now she is looking like she might get to 15 hands. She has a lot of leg to grow into and is doing a good job at getting them under control. Check our her photos and videos below.

Fun Fact:

Chrissy is only thirteen generations from Justin Morgan, the original Morgan Horse, also known as Figure, through Ethan Allen 2nd, the cornerstone stallion of the Lippitts bloodline. As well as the Morgan mares Maggie Morgan and Bessie. Chrissy has many more cross to Figure but these are the ones that bring Justin Morgan the closest.

Ethan Allen 2nd foaled 1877

Bessie foaled 1885

Maggie Morgan foaled 1910

Justin Morgan foaled 1789

This is just fun information we thought someone might enjoy. We produced Chrissy with a lot of care the fact that Justin Morgan is so close is a happy coincidence.

Fun Fact:

Chrissy's Maternal Grand-sire is Sandrock Joel. Joel is the first Lippitt we fell in love with many, many, years ago. We consider ourselves lucky to have a Joel daughter. Lippitts are a long lived breed and Joel sired a few foals even in his senior years.  Sadly Joel crossed the bridge to heaven in December of 2018 at the age of 35.

Pure Lippitt Morgan

C-My Doc Holiday is a full Lippitt Stallion with an amazing temperament. People are surprised to discover he is a stallion because of how sweet and easy going he is. Breeding wise Doc is strongly influenced by the celebrated Lippitt stallion STILLWATER INDIGO, who excel in numerous activities from driving to Mounted Police. Doc is sired by the late RYEGATE MAJOR whose strongest influence comes from Lippitt Ethan Ash, a Lippitt stallion known for producing lovely traditional and very Type Morgan horses. Ethan Ash's genetic power was strongly influenced by both Ethan Allen 3rd. and Ethan Allen 2nd. Ethan Allen 2nd., cornerstone stallion of the Lippitt family, during his lifetime was said to be strongest source to the blood of Figure.

Z Halcyon April, we call her Archer, is a full Lippitt mare with extreme loyalty to her person. She loves trails and has that "Bear went over the mountain" attitude, nothing will stop her. She can go on forever with her fast, smooth, walk or in her Morgan trot ..... until you turn around to head home... then she slows down and drags her feet. Archer loves children and is very accommodating to their whims. Adults, she holds to a higher standard and expects mutual respect in a partner relationship. We are lucky to have Archer, from a successful line of working ranch horses, a daughter of the first Lippitt we were introduced to, himself a notable Lippitt stallion SANDROCK JOEL. The gorgeous Joel, still siring foals at age 34, is the son of  EDGEWOOD HALLMARK another hard working ranch horse. Archer's pedigree is additionally influenced through the Lippitt stallions ROYALTON ASHBROOK DARLING and ASHBROOK considered by  A. F. Phillips, who valued the old style Morgan, to be the epitome of his breeding program. ASHBROOK was all Morgan, still carrying 25% of the blood of Figure,  more than 100 years after Figure's death.
