Growing Pretty

Aliy is growing up. She no longer has that baby look and she has out grown her old halter but doesn't quite fit her new one. We compared Aliy's hocks to Archer's and Aliy's are about 3 fingers taller. So we are pretty sure Aliy will grow to be 15 hands at least.

The first few weeks of May were non-stop rain. This last week it tends to rain at night and sometimes during the day. The results of so much rain is MUD. We are sick of mud. After the first week of rain even Aliy was showing her frustration with the mud. Happily now we are able to clean up the horses up and begin ridding beyond the arena again. This kind of mud isn't safe to ride in, way too slippery and can cause tendon injuries.
