Devil's Backbone

We took the horses to Devil's Backbone today. It was Thistle and Aliy's first time on a trail with lots of hikers, trail runners, and mountain bikers. Thistle did better than expected. Archer would have preferred to cover a lot more ground, faster, and she wasn't happy when we turned around to head back to the trailhead. Aliy was her perfect-self, taking in stride the MT bikers and even a group of noisy kids running past her near the end.
