New Blanket

The weather turned yucky, high winds on Tuesday and a bit of snow, resulting in sub-zero temperatures. Aliy has out grown the foal size blanket we put on her after she came home from the Colorado State University Veterinary Hospital. So she is in a new pony size blanket. Wednesday morning, in the old blanket, she seemed to be shivering a little, possibly since her coat still has patches of growing hair where the vets had to shave, so she really appreciated the added warmth from the new blanket.
