Boots for Walk'n

Thistle has new boots. In an effort to keep Thistle barefoot we decided she is going to need some sort of hoof protection. We looked at several and decided to try the Easyboot Glove. Cadence also bought power straps (in purple) to add to the front of the boot for more stability but we haven’t had a chance to attach them yet. The boots cost more than Cadence expected so she was only able to buy two for the front hooves. If she makes enough money on her next check she will be buying a set for Thistle’s rear hooves as well.

The boots are needed when Cadence and Thistle ride out away from the stable area. Thistle’s hooves wear pretty quickly on the rocky ground beyond so hopefully the Easyboots help and stay on well enough to make them worthwhile.
