POP !!!

Thistle is becoming too good. She is such a great horse and so trusting of Cadence that noting seems to faze her. This morning Cadence blew-up some balloons to pop around Thistle. I tried to get it on video and I really wish I had because it was pretty funny. However, Cadence didn’t hear me ask her to wait while I grabbed the camera. Anyway, what was funny; first Cadence rubbed a balloon all over Thistle lightly but not enough to generate any static electricity. Then she dropped the first balloon in front of Thistle while she held the lead rope. There was a slight breeze that slowly moved the yellow balloon gently away from Thistle along the ground. Thistle being curious began to follow with her muzzle, checking out the balloon. Cadence then suddenly popped the balloon. Instead of spooking Thistle barely even raised her head and had more of an expression of “Where did it go?” Cadence popped two more balloons later in the day with only a slight reaction from Thistle, who now thinks balloon are not worth her time.
