Thistle and Archer

Both Archer and Thistle have had to make a life style change. Archer with her big move and Thistle has moved from the big barn into a paddock with Archer. Neither mare is very happy at the moment.

Each has staked out a territory on opposite ends, Thistle by the gate and Archer by the water trough. Thistle would really prefer to be in her old barn stall back and is constantly letting Cadence know she was put in the wrong place.

Archer has to be feeling depressed at the big life change she has had to make and misses her previous friends and family. However, Keeley and Archer seem to be adjusting to each other and Archer is following Keeley willingly, something Archer does not do for either Robin or Cadence.

In hopes of relieving some of the tension between the two they were put out to pasture for a while, both mares ignored each other, which is a good thing for now. If things don’t change after the holiday this coming Monday Thistle may get her wish and move back to the big barn. Archer has made friends with a red dun gelding across the fence so she certainly won’t miss Thistle if she leaves.
