This boy is wonderfully unexpected as we only had a 25% chance for a chestnut, but we knew if the foal was a chestnut it would have some chrome, and he does. His star, strip and snip, along with his near side hind stocking he also has interesting boots coupled with partial sock on the back of each of his other three legs, and he shows flaxen in his tail.

Reveille is, and may be, the only foal his dam Aliy ever produces. If you recall Aliy is our mare that was injured several years ago in a accident trailering home from so western dressage lesson. Aliy did handled her maternity well, and thankfully we had a mild winter for her.  Although, and not unexpected, we had to aid her with the delivery of Reveille's shoulders but all in all Aliy did great and she made a very contentious mother.

We are delighted with Reveille's flash and he is turning into a sweet boy, Reveille is very people oriented and has began his foal ground work skills and learning a few small tricks. Which seem to be the highlights of his day. He also loves his feed, but what Morgan doesn't.

This boy loves to run and he thinks dirt and mud are the best thing about being on here on earth. He has a heavy winter coat for a foal and brushing doesn't accomplish very much, so we got a battery operated leaf blower that we use on him and that keeps him pretty clean. (I'll get a video soon).

Note: We are considering keeping this boy and offer him because he is a colt rather than a filly. We will consider a sale to the right person that can do more with him than I will be able and would love if someone interested in breeding took him on as we have doubts if his dam will ever be bred again.
